I graduated from UWCM in Cardiff in 1994 and since then have worked as a Dental Officer in the Royal Navy for eight years, an associate in private practice and a clinical supervisor at UCLAN for 9 years before moving to Australia in 2011 with my husband and two sons and building a home in Busselton. I have recently joined the South West Dental Convocation committee after six years as a member and hope to learn lots from Kate and Tim as we organize future learning events we can all enjoy in a friendly and sociable environment.

My husband and I moved to the South West in 2011, after living in Albany while I worked in Mount Barker. In 2013 we moved to Collie and took over the practice in 2015. We’ve since built a house in Australind and have settled into the relaxed lifestyle this region has to offer. The South West Dental Convocation is a great educational and social group, which made me feel welcome straight away. I joined as Secretary in 2014 and it’s been a privilege to help co-ordinate our events, welcome new members and introduce our speakers over the years.

After graduating in 2013 from UWA, I moved to Dalyellup to work at Dalyellup Dental and then Vasse Dental where I am now Principal Dentist. I have since built a house in Dalyellup and settled into life in the South West. I am committed to helping to provide interesting learning opportunities as well as a good social environment for my colleagues here in the South West.
Marketing Manager - Dr Rebecca Zand-Vakily
I graduated from UWA. in 1991. I have worked in many different practices in Perth while my daughter was growing up. Then in 2012 I decided to set up my own practice in Esperance. I bought the block of land and built the dental practice from scratch and it opened in December 2013.
I am currently working in Margaret River , 3 days/week.
